Jim Dwight Linderer

James “Jim” Dwight Linderer, 72, of Gladewater, passed away in Longview on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Jim was born on January 31, 1950, in Fairfax, Missouri to the late James F. and Delpha (Lindsay) Linderer. He graduated from Saint Pius X Catholic High School in Crystal City, Missouri.
Jim worked as a manager for Wal-Mart for many years in different locations. After leaving that position for medical reasons, Jim went to work for Premier Portable Buildings as the Northeast Texas Sale Representative for that company. Jim loved to go fishing, especially bass fishing, and was involved in several tournaments.
Jim is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Sarah Spencer and husband Shane; son, James Stewart Linderer and wife Ashley; sister, Susan Linderer Borders; brothers, David Linderer , Robert Linderer and wife Maranetta; grandchildren, Aiden, Bella, Meloray, Madrianna; step-children Shawna Bumbard and husband Robert, Bethany Ross and husband Juan, Lucas Mock and wife Lainey, Brent Black and wife Tanaiah; and step grandchildren, Dalton, Dixie, Levi, Titus, Elora, Amelia, Axel. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Delpha Linderer as well as his grandparents.
A Funeral Mass for Jim will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 11:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Union Grove, Father Mark Dunne, leading the Mass. A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm, with a Rosary Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Father Devaraj Arulappa, leading the Rosary, as well as from 9:30-10:30 am on Tuesday. Interment will follow the Mass in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pritchett.
