Graveside services for Jimmy Wayne Risher, 65, of Richmond, Texas will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Cherokee Cemetery in Gilmer, Texas with Bro. Madison Caffey officiating. Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Risher passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Risher was born on May 4, 1952 in Gilmer, Texas to Adolphus Oliver Risher, Sr. and Virgie Lee Cox. He was a self-employed Roofing Contractor, entrepreneur and store manager and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his sons, T.J. Risher and wife, Christy of Richmond and Jimmy Wayne Risher, Jr of Copperas Cove; daughter, Jeannie Risher of Round Rock; brother, Oliver Risher and wife, Phyllis of Tyler; five grandchildren, Joshua Torres, J.T. Risher, John Schneider, Jade Risher and Jerrika Weaver and husband, Dakota; one great-grandchild, Wyatt Weaver. No formal visitation is scheduled.
