Jo Nell Pruitt

Graveside service for Ms. Jo Nell Pruitt, 86, of Gilmer will be held Friday, May 29, 2020, at 11:00 A.M., at Sandhill Cemetery with Bro. Matt Darby officiating. Ms. Pruitt passed away Monday, May 25, 2020.
Ms. Pruitt was born on April 29, 1934, in Paris, TX, to the late Jack and Minnie (Hawkins) Youngblood. She married Billy Gene Pruitt on April 6, 1948 in Upshur County and raised three children, Timothy Pruitt, Anita (Pruitt) O’Neal, and Mary (Pruitt) Cargil.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Pruitt, her parents, son, Timmy Pruitt; brothers, Charlie D. “Son” Youngblood and Jackie Youngblood, and sister, Bobbie Ruth LaGrone.
Ms. Pruitt is survived by her daughters, Anita O’Neal and husband, James and Mary Cargil; grandchildren, Kellie Smith, Tonya Leach, Mendy Green, Jeremy O’Neal, Chad O’Neal, and Tori Baxter; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Joseph, Dylan, and Katie Smith, Baylee McQuire, Zoey Leach, Jett and Pyper Johnson, Colby and Nate Winn, Ty and Sloan O’Neal, and Tanner and Journey Baxter; and great great-grandchildren, Kyrstan and Jensen Butler, and Hyde Maddox Smith.
