Joan Stinchfield

Cremation arrangements for Joan Stinchfield, 84, of Gladewater are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Stinchfield passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018, in Longview.

Mrs. Stinchfield was born April 22, 1933 in Henderson, Kentucky to the late Herbert Henry Clark, Sr. and Florence Ann Gassaway. Joan was an avid reader and loved a good book. She enjoyed watching Larry Byrd play basketball and also loved watching golf on the television. Mrs. Stinchfield was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and homemaker. She will be missed by all the family and friends she leaves behind.

Joan is survived by her four children Sherrie Kincaide and husband Donald, Debra Dendy, Jerry Stinchfield, Jr. and Mickey Stinchfield and wife Melissa; sister Bobbie Rose Gresser; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild as well as many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Jerry Stinchfield, Sr.; parents Herbert and Florence Clark, Sr; a sister Louise Eugenia Clark and a brother Herbert Henry Clark, Jr.
