Joe Adkinson

Memorial graveside services for Joe Adkinson, 86, will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Old White Oak Cemetery in White Oak, Texas. Mr. Adkinson passed away Monday, July 16, 2018, in Longview.

Mr. Adkinson was born September 16, 1931 in Tracey, Oklahoma to the late William Henry Adkinson and Clara Mae Parish Adkinson. Joe was a hardworking and devoted family man. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends when not at work. Joe worked in the oilfield for many years before retirement. He will be truly missed by all the loving family and friends he leaves behind.

Joe is survived by his wife Helen Higginbotham; son Jimmy Adkinson; daughters Pam Adkinson, Vicky Dudley, Gina Williams, Tina Adams and Patricia Lyles; sister Emogene Lyons; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents William and Clara Adkinson, son Carl Adkinson and brothers Bill and Dean Adkinson.
