Joe R. Moore

A memorial service for Joe R. Moore, 77, of Gladewater, will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at 6 P.M. at the Moore residence. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Born on April 27, 1936, in Sedgwick, Arkansas, he died on Friday, September 27, 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired carpenter. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lela Moore of Gladewater; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Kathy Moore of Gladewater, and Jeff and Joni Moore of Beckville; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Jim Taylor of Oklahoma; and 2 sisters, Stella Morris and Pat Stocker, both of Arkansas. No visitation is scheduled.
