L. B. Russom

Services for L. B. Russom, 84, of Gladewater, will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at 2 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Robert Collins officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
Born on January 20, 1930, in Winnsboro, Texas, to George Burt and Lillie Meeks Russom, Mr. Russom entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 22, 2014. He was a carpenter and had resided in Gladewater for the past fifty years. He was a member of the Baptist faith.


Today he is mourned by his wife of sixty years, Gloria Russom of Gladewater; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Davina Russom of Gladewater; daughters, Sharon Jean Russom of Dallas; Diane Hale and husband Jeff of Gladewater, Linda Fail of Gladewater, and Martha Russom of Gladewater; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Varner Russom; sisters, Opal Parker, Merlene Davis, Maurine Sherman, and Gypsy Spence.
?The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. on Monday, March 24, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater.
