Ann married Rex Morris, son of Horace and Ruth Morris on December 22, 1957, at Gilmer Church of Christ. For the first 20 years of their marriage she was a supportive wife while Rex served as an officer in the U. S. Air Force. In 1977 Rex and Ann moved back to Gilmer, where she taught English for seventeen years, impacting numerous students" lives. She was a devoted wife of 55 years to her surviving husband, Rex Morris of Gilmer; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ben and Donna Morris of Gilmer, Les and Laura Morris of Gilmer, Chris and Kristi Morris of Montgomery, Texas; grandchildren, Seth and wife, Kristel, Jarod and wife, Brooke, Keirsten, Sarah Beth, Slade, Cole and KK; and five great grandchildren. Ann was affectionately called Mornen by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving, adoring grandmother who thought her grand/ great-grandchildren were perfect in every way. Ann was a faithful member of Gilmer Church of Christ for nearly 70 years. She devoted her life to the church and its work. She believed that God was in control of her life and showed that faithfulness to all she would meet. Her sweet spirit radiated God"s goodness and grace. Her Christ-like servant heart blessed us all. Ann had many close and dear friends and would welcome them into her life and her home at any time of day. She never met a stranger and would always have a smile on her face. Ann will be dearly missed by all, but we have comfort knowing that she is now with her Lord and Savior. Family requests donations be made to Camp Deer Run, 1227 CR 4590, Winnsboro, Texas 75494
