Linda Sherlock Prior

Funeral services for Linda Sherlock Prior, 66, Big Sandy, will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater with Mike Stubbs officiating. Interment will follow in Strong Cemetery in Rusk County. Mrs. Prior passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, in Longview. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 4, at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.

Linda was born on February 1, 1948, in Jacksonville, Texas to Clifford and Maurice Martin Sherlock. She was a member of North Main Church of Christ. Linda was an EMT, worked in the Radiology department at Longview Regional Hospital and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Prior of Big Sandy, parents, Clifford and Maurice Sherlock of Hawkins, daughter and son-in-law, Karen and John Finney of Gilmer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wesley and Angela Sherlock of Liberty City and Donald and Cindy Sherlock of Big Sandy; grandchildren, Laken, Jarrett and Cullen Finney; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her son, Carl Prior.
