Linda Sue Venn Hill

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Sue Venn Hill, 74, of Gilmer, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 31, 2015, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter "day Saints in Gilmer. Burial will follow at Enoch Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Hill passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in Gilmer. She was born on August 9, 1940, in Gilmer, Texas to Thurl Morris Venn of Gilmer and Euna Myrtle Pritchett Venn of Gilmer. On November 21, 1963, she married Granvil Lee "Rip" Hill and she worked for Margie"s Beauty Shop and Union Grove ISD cafeteria. Mrs. Hill was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her husband, Granvil Lee "Rip" Hill; sons and daughters-in-law, Harold Wayne and Susan Hill of Longview, Phillip and Rita Hill; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Lance Seahorn; grandchildren, Mallory Dodd, Hillary Hill, Hailey Hill, Barrett Hill, Baylee Hill, Brady Hill, Blake Hill, Spencer Seahorn, Marlee Seahorn, Dallin Seahorn, Weston Seahorn; also a great grandchild, Cruz Dodd; brother and sister-in-law, Noel and Geneva Venn. Memorials may be made to Texas Home Health Hospice, 2904 N. 4th Street, Suite 102, Longview, Texas 75605 or Enoch Cemetery Association, 3211 Ashley Venn Rd, Gilmer, Texas 75644. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 30, 2015, from 6:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home.
