Lois Christine “Chris”, “Pal” Davis was born October 18, 1931 to Raymond and Ruby Morris in London, Texas. She went to join her Lord and Savior on August 21st 2020.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Davis, son Bobby Lynn Kelly and stepson Bobbie Davis, her parents, sisters: Lucille Holcroft and Colean Dixon, brothers: Troy Morris and Calvin Morris.

She is survived by son Raymond Eugene Kelly and wife Nga and granddaughter Isabella, step-daughters Barbara and husband, Brad Groves and Kelly Murrish, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins and nieces and nephews.

Chris was a faithful member of South Union Baptist Church and a mighty prayer warrior. If you asked her to pray for you, she put your name on her prayer list and prayed daily until there was some resolution. Chris was a supporter of Christ and the work that was being done in His name. Chris donated financially to many missions and individuals, but more importantly she donated her time in many areas. She taught children of all ages for many years in Sunday School and was a greeter on Sunday Mornings. She enjoyed visiting the shut-ins, sending cards, preparing food for others, and making phone calls. She sent cards to all her church family each Christmas. If you talked to Chris very long, she would always bring up Jesus and what He did for her and how he changed her life. She shared with others how they could have salvation and how it would change their life. She was a mighty soul winner and made a difference in so many lives!

Chris and Bob were married March 11, 1963 and things were pretty tight for a few years. Chris was a bookkeeper most of her adult life and a savvy business woman. Together they built an awesome business which afforded them the ability to travel all over the United States in their motor home. They loved going and seeing new places. They made their way to Israel and stayed several months seeing all the places their Jesus had walked and taught and where He died and rose again. Israel was their favorite place to visit.

Chris will be greatly missed by all her family and church family and friends. Our loss is heaven’s gain!
