Services for Lois Hazel Baird, 96, of White Oak, Texas will be held at White Oak Baptist Church on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend C. Bill Voss officiating and interment following at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer, Texas. Mrs. Baird passed on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in Longview, Texas. Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas. Lois Hazel Baird was born to David Ezra and Josephine McCullan Phillips on May 23, 1918 in the Upshur community of Stamps, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the White Oak Baptist Church. She was married to Harl E. Baird who precedes her in death. Lois is survived by her daughters, Harlene Baird of White Oak and Jeanette Couch and husband Ron of Mt. Pleasant; sister, Bea MacDonald of Charlottesville, Virginia; grandchildren, Rachel Logan and husband Lance of Plano and John Couch and wife Elena of Kyle and 3 great grandchildren, Cal, Seth and Luke Logan all of Plano. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, three brothers and one son, Ed Baird. Serving as pallbearers will be Ron Couch, Lance Logan, David N. Phillips, Reggie Reynolds and Gail Henson. Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
