Lola Faye Woods

Graveside services for Lola Faye Woods, 71, of Big Sandy will be Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Gladewater Memorial Park with Reverend Preston Doser officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Woods passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 in Longview. Mrs. Woods was born June 19, 1944 in Decatur, Texas to Harvey and Vivian Walker. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Big Sandy. Lola enjoyed reading, working plastic canvas and playing the Wii. But above all else she loved to watch her great grandson. Lola was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. Mrs. Woods will be missed by all the family and friends he leaves behind. She is survived by her daughter Tammy Woods; sister Carolyn Tucker; brother H.C. Walker; granddaughter Sarai Roberts; two great grandsons Gavin Crocker-Gomez and Ty Gomez as well as many other loving family and friends. Mrs. Woods is preceded in death by her husband Dave C. Woods, IV; parents Vivian and Harvey Walker; son David C. Woods, V; grandson David Paul Balliett; two sisters Joann Walker and Harvence Wilkinson; and two brothers Leon Walker and Loyd Walker.
