Marie Hawn

Mrs. Marie Hawn, 85, of Kilgore Texas, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at her home in Kilgore. Funeral service for Mrs. Hawn will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 30, 2021, at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer with J.R. Stephens officiating, interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Croley Funeral Home on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

Marie was born April 23, 1936, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Howard and Ruby Hofer Washburn. She married Marion Edward Hawn on September 5, 1952; they were married for 68 years. Marie worked for Walmart for many years and she will be greatly missed by the many friends and family member she leaves behind.

Mrs. Hawn is survived by her husband, Marion Hawn of Kilgore; sons, Billy Hawn of Overton and Robert Hawn (Christine) of Arizona; daughters, Virginia Johnson of Overton and Cindy Martinez (Felix) of Kilgore; as well as 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
