Mary J. Douglas

Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Jane Douglas, 80, of Longview will be held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, August 26, 2010, at Hopewell Cemetery with Bro. David Dickson officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home-Gilmer. Mrs. Douglas passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2010 in Tyler. She was born August 30, 1929, in Bowie County, Texas to Lonnie Allen and Wilma Ray Borden. Mrs. Douglas was a member of North Longview Baptist Church and a retired clerk from Eckerd Drug. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Aaron Paul and Barbara Borden of Fallbrook, CA.; sister and brother-in-law, Quincey and Wayne Gilliam of Chapel Hill; nephews, Dennis Gilliam and wife, Gwen, Layne Gilliam and wife, Fancy and Chris Borden. Mrs. Douglas was preceded in death by her husband, George Earl Douglas. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Patterson, Horace Tillison, Kenny Thompson and Kenny Graham. No formal visitation will be held. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
