Mary Jane Strickland

Mary Jane Strickland, 76, of Irving, Texas passed away on August 14, 2022. Mary was born May 10, 1946 to Clarence and Velma Henderson.

Mary’s passion was her family. Mary’s caring heart always helped anyone in need. She loved her family dearly and treasured time with them. Mary was known to sing and dance doing the two step. Her passion for her family and dedication to helping those around her will be missed but never forgotten.

Mary is survived by her son, Kevin Strickland and wife Katie; daughter Dee Anne Plaxco; sisters, Vriginia Polly, Rhonda McPherson, Jackie Tolan and Stacie Van Camp; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her sons, Jimmy Strickland and Jerry Strickland; as well as her brother, John Richard Henderson.

There will be a memorial service at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater, Texas on Saturday, August 27, 2021 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
