Mary Luann Pittman

Graveside services for, Mary L. Pittman, age 68, of Gladewater, will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Gladewater Memorial Park with Bro. William Carnley officiating. No formal visitation will be held. Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater.

Mary was born in Corsicana on July 13, 1949 to the late H.L. Whitfield and Billie Ruth Compton Whitfield. She was a devoted homemaker and mother, and a member of the former Gilmer Church of God. She enjoyed knitting, traveling, and loved spending time with her 18 grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Mr. Marty R. Pittman of Gladewater; sons, Marty Joe Pittman and wife April of Liberty City, Jason Pittman and wife Bridgette of Carthage, Justin Pittman and wife Sandi of Longview; daughters, Jenelle Newland and husband Greg of Gilmer, Priscilla McGilvray and husband James of Mesquite; eighteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and only brother, Paul Whitfield.
