Mavis Sue Baxter

Mavis Sue Baxter, age 83, of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 11, 2017. She was born October7, 1934 in Gilmer, Texas, to Myron B. and Mary Winnie (Jones) Bryant.

She is survived by her daughters, Gail Parker and spouse Kim of Rockwall, Texas, Debra Reeves and spouse Charlie of Magnolia, Texas; grandchildren, Natalie Beeman and spouse Michael, Trey Reeves and Jett Reeves; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Beeman; brother, Myron B. Bryant, Jr.; sister, Barbara Olsen; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

Sue is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Harold Baxter; parents, Myron B. and Mary Winnie Bryant; siblings, Robert E. Bryant, Lelia Beth Redding and Karen Morris.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 651 Stacy Road, Fairview, Texas. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., December 15, 2017 at Kelsey Cemetery in Gilmer, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening, December 14, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway N., Allen, Texas 75013.
