Michael Brice Fetter

Memorial services for Mr. Michael Brice Fetter, 62, of Big Sandy, will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Alan Metzel officiating. Mr. Fetter passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010, in Longview. He was born July 3, 1947, in Defiance, Ohio, to Richard and Dorothy Bayless Fetter. Mr. Fetter married Sandra June Kelbe on December 30, 1969, in Ohio. He was a "Loving Husband, Father, Brother and Grandfather". Mike was proud of his service as a police officer, Gregg County Sheriff and the Upshur County District Attorney. He was a Baptist and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Alpine Texas. Mr. Fetter is survived by his wife, Sandra Fetter of Big Sandy; sons and daughter-in-law, Hank and Unkyong Fetter of Hawaii, and Raymond Fetter of Tyler; brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Linda Fetter of Defiance, Ohio; mother-in-law, Clarice Kelble; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Allen and Kay Oberlin of Windfall, Indiana; brother-in-law, Tom Kelble of Fremont, Indiana; one grandchild, Michael Joseph Fetter; one nephew, Gary Oberlin; two nieces, Kristen Deuschle and Carrie Shrader; and a special family friend, Tracy McCraven of Gilmer.
