Michael Glen Stocks

Mike was born on December 4, 1955 in Gilmer Texas, to Glenn Winston and JoAnn Stocks. He was a farmer, a hard worker, and was retired from Texas Eastman Chemical Company. He and his wife Jennifer Allen Stocks, had a marriage full of laughter, joy, and a love so deep and pure, one that many couples may never experience. He was a gentle person, who always offered a hand in need and loved to spread about the word of God. He enjoyed his country life, surrounded by his family and their animals at home. He knew how to turn a bad day around and always made the best of everything. He had two children who thought the world of him, and two granddaughters who were his pride and joy.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Jennifer Allen Stocks of Gilmer, sister Susan Echols and husband Grady; sister, Jan Cross and husband Jimmy; brother, David Stocks and wife DeLois; two children, son Michael Lucas Stocks, daughter, Lacy Magen Stocks Sanders and husband Collin; two granddaughters, Macy Bree Stocks and Brinkley Ember Sanders; and Mike and Jennifer’s dearest friend, Gayla Sowell.
Memorial Service for Mr. Stocks will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2018, 10 A.M. at Grace Baptist Church in Gilmer, TX with Rev. Reginald Bowser officiating.
