Michael Wayne Evans

Celebration of Life services for Michael Wayne Evans, 48, of Gladewater, will be August 3, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. at the family home in Gladewater at 101 Pine Ridge Road. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mr. Evans passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019, in Gladewater.

Michael was born April 15, 1971 in Dallas to John Michael Evans and Vickie Diane Dotson. Michael was extremely intelligent and a friend to anyone. He was a very good card player and pool player. Michael worked in many different management positions in the restaurant and bar business. He was a devoted and loving son, brother and father. Michael’s true passion was bass fishing and even earned an opportunity to fish with Bill Dance. Michael will always be remembered by the loving family and many friends he leaves behind.

Michael is survived by his son Gage Blake Evans; mother Vickie Diane Edwards; brother Craig Allen Evans as well as many other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father John Michael Evans.
