Mickey Holland Adair

Mickey Holland Adair, age 74, of Hawkins, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at his home. Mickey was born in Sulphur Springs on August 9, 1946. He was a retired truck driver, and member of First Assembly of God Church of Hawkins. Mickey was always into something, working with his hands, tinkering, gardening, yard work, or activities at the church. He enjoyed watching westerns, and cooking, and won several chili cook-offs through the years.
Mickey was preceded in death by his father, Pat Adair; mother, Illyne (Ritchey) Blanks; his loving wife, Judy Kay Adair on December 22, 2018; son, Keith Adair; step-father, J.W. Blanks.
He is survived by his sons, Justin Adair and wife Shelley of Sulphur Springs, Steven Adair of Sulphur Springs, Jason Gibson of Whitehouse, Clifford Gillette of Tyler; daughters, Angela Sanders of Hawkins, Julia Sanders of Hawkins; brother, Jerry Adair and wife Linda of Sulphur Springs; thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the First Assembly of God Church in Hawkins, Bro. Bryan Peck, and Bro. Don Majors officiating.
