Morris F. Duffey

Graveside services for Morris F. Duffey, 96, of Dallas will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Simpsonville Cemetery with Pastor Mark Wilburn officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Duffey passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2013 in Dallas. He was born on December 2, 1916, in Perryville, Texas to Frank and Myrtice Duffey. Mr. Duffey served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was a machinist for Chance Vaught for 35 years before his retirement. He married Paulette Highlander on January 26, 1962 and she survives him. He is also survived by his son, Jimmy Duffey and wife, Barbara of Heath, Texas; brother, John Reese Duffey of Alexander, Texas; three grandchildren, Cameron Duffey, Lesley Lawless and James Lawless and two great grandchildren. Mr. Duffey was preceded in death by two brothers, Guy Duffey and Bill Duffey. No formal visitation will be held
