Myrtis June Sanford

GILMER- Funeral services for Myrtis June Sanford, 83, of Gilmer, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ross Worley officiating. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery in Winnsboro, Texas. She passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016. Mrs. Sanford was born on August 1, 1933 in Alco, Louisiana to John Walden and Kitty Martin Walden. She was a telephone operator at Southwestern Bell and was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Sanford is survived by her sons, John Mark Sanford and Karen Brown of Latch and Joe Bob Sanford and his wife, Nancy of Kelsey; daughter, Sandra Conway and her husband, Ray of Longview; grandchildren, Justin Conway and his wife Danielle, Sean Conway, Ryan and his wife Kathryn Conway, Jennifer Sanford, Suzy Sanford, Calvin Sanford, Patricia Sanford, Christina Sanford, Angela Madding, Brittany Taylor, Tabitha Hampton, Angelica Brown; great grandchildren, Kaydence Rogers, Ethan Madding, Jasmine Strickland, Aushtun Mapes, Adeline Hampton, Anthony Hampton, Dixie Conway, Lexi Daniels and Cooper Conway. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and granddaughter. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
