Services for Mrs. Nadine McQueen, 83, of Gilmer will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 19,2013 at Gilmer First Baptist Church with Larry W. Osborne, Dwight Brannon, and Bro. Ricky Rigsby officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Mrs. McQueen passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in Gilmer. Mrs. McQueen was born on April 3, 1929, in Jacksonville, Texas to Oliver "Pat" Grimes and Sarah Henry Grimes. On June 28, 1952, in Lake Jackson, Texas, she married the love of her life, Henry Earl McQueen. Mrs. McQueen attended Tyler Commercial College and lived in the Gilmer area for the past 53 years. She was the office manager and co/owner with her husband on many different family businesses. Mrs. McQueen was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Henry McQueen on November 5, 2012 and brother, Hershel Grimes. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Kelly McQueen of Gilmer; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and David Warren of Gilmer; sister-in-law, Ruth Grimes of Gilmer; 5 grandchildren, Taylor McQueen, Jackson McQueen; Brennan Warren, Sarah Warren and Peyton Warren. Pallbearers are Jackson McQueen, Brennan Warren, Steven Youngblood, Nat Harrison, Matt Johnson, Ray Culberson, Todd Parrish and Tom McClain. Honorary Pallbearers are Samuel Jones, Billy Jones, Jeff McQueen, Donald McQueen, Leon Anderson, James Anderson, Scott Sisson, Arnold Grimes, Robert Jones, Bryant Jones, Brad Jones and David Warren. The family will receive friends on Friday, January, 18, 2013, from 6:00 until 8:00 at the funeral home. Memorials may be sent to the First Baptist Church, 271 W. Cass, Gilmer, Texas 75644
