Nance` Marie Wilson

Celebration of Life services for Nance` Marie Wilson, 95, of Holly Lake Ranch will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the Holly Tree Cemetery at Holly Lake Ranch with Mr. Jim Wilson officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins. Interment will follow the celebration of life services. Mrs. Wilson passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018, in Waxahachie.

Nance` Wilson was born May 11, 1923 in Dallas, Texas to the Late James Robert McFarland and Lyle Viola Kean. Nance` was raised in Ladonia, TX, Lubbock, TX and Dallas, TX. She attended North Dallas High School, Hockaday School and received a Degree in English from The University of Texas in Austin. She was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Nance` assisted her husband Jack in his many and varied business ventures, most of all, Holly Lake Ranch, where they lived for more than 40 years.

Although she had been a nominal Christian, Nance` committed her life and future to Jesus Christ in 1962. This life-changing event led to involvement with many Christian ministries. Nance` was a Bible teacher, homemaker and friend to so many. Her insatiable desire to record her thoughts and insights in journals, poems and three very special books; have been a blessing to countless people.

She is survived by her son, James M. Wilson and wife Mary of Holly Lake Ranch and Waxahachie, TX; grandchildren, Holli Woodling Orsag and husband Chris, Loren Zerr and husband Shane, Katie Alexander and husband Ben, Jamie Wilson and wife Kelsey and Jacky Bennett; great grandchildren, Taylor, Colton, Lauren, Jack and Luke.

Preceding her in death are her parents; daughter Brenda Wilson, daughter Judi Wilson, great grandson, Corey Woodling; and her beloved husband of 69 years, Jack Wilson.
