Nancy Joanne Weidman

Funeral Services for Nancy Joanne Weidman, 88, of Gladewater will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018, at the Clarksville City Baptist Church with Reverend Roger Gage officiating. Interment will follow the services at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Weidman passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, in Gladewater.

Mrs. Weidman was born January 24, 1930 to the late Ernest Ward Seay and Nancy Ellen Hoskins Seay. Nancy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. She was a longtime faithful member of the Clarksville City Baptist Church in Gladewater. Nancy enjoyed crafts, cooking and comics especially “Maxine”. She never met a stranger and was known to all as “mom” or “Grandma”. She will be dearly missed by all the family, church family and friends she leaves behind.

Nancy is survived by three children Patti Utz and husband Gary of San Antonio, Michael Shobe of Oklahoma and David Shobe of San Antonio; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Nancy Seay; husband Harold Weidman; daughter Nancy Taylor and a son Carl Shobe, Jr.
