Nancy Wheeler

Graveside service for Mrs. Nancy Wheeler, 81 of Gilmer will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020, at 11:00 A.M., at Locust Grove Cemetery with Lawrence Thompson officiating.. The family will receive friends Friday, June 19, 2020 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Wheeler passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 in Gilmer.
Nancy was born on January 7, 1939, in Seagraves, Texas, to Merle Kiser and Nona Mae Wigley Kiser. Mrs. Wheeler was a homemaker and loved tending to her farm, gardening and canning produce. As she got older Nancy enjoyed doing crafts.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Gary and Jack Taylor; daughters, Debbie Bruin and Donna Batencourt; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by his parents; husband, Leonard Wheeler; one brother and three sisters.
