Neta Lee Porter

Ms. Neta Lee Porter passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at her home in Rosewood. Neta, a lifetime resident of Upshur County was born on May 20, 1926 to the late Wilye and Erin Venn Carter. She is survived by her sons, James Lee Porter (Colleen) and Charles Glen Porter (Teresa) all of Rosewood; grandchildren, James Allen Porter, Randy Odell Porter, KC Lynn Caldwell, Jeffery Robert Porter, Brian Porter, Kevin Porter, and Sheryl Porter; 25 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
Ms. Porter is preceded in death by her husband, James Odell Porter, who passed away in 1980; her parents; son, Harold Wayne Beckham; daughter, Mary Blynn Porter; and grandson, Gary Porter.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 8, 2021 at Enon Cemetery with Bro. Charles Johnson officiating and under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer.
