Nettie Faye Chambers

Services for Nettie Faye Chambers, 86, of Winona will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater. Private interment will take place at Starrville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening at Croley Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Chambers passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 in Tyler.

Mrs. Chambers was born September 23, 1930 in Whitesboro, Texas to the late Cecil Edwin Lucas and Era Faye Rawlinson Lucas. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. Nettie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and homemaker. She loved spending time with family and friends. She will be truly missed by all the family and friends she leaves behind.

Nettie is survived by her seven children Raymond Chambers and wife Sherron of Lindale, James Chambers and wife Georgia of Gainesville, Floyd Chambers of Winona, Lloyd Chambers and wife Debbie of Seagoville, Roger Chambers of Mesquite, Doris Wright and husband Cliff of Winona and Nina Marsh and husband Vernon of Big Sandy; sister Louise Martin of Pleasant Grove; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband George Henry Chambers who passed away in May of 2013 and a sister Ruby Good.
