Olton Lane Strickland

Funeral services for Olton Lane Strickland, age 19 of Waco, TX, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Summit Heights Fellowship 2340 South FM 2869, Hawkins, TX 76765 , with Bro. Zach Tunnell, Bro. Edward Crouch, and Bro. Bob Behnke officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery in Coke, TX. Olton passed away on Sunday, September, 9th 2018 in Waco, TX. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Olton was born in Arlington, TX on March 25, 1999 to Tracy Lane Strickland and Kelli Anne (Strickland) Stewart. He was a graduate of Hawkins High School and attended Texas State Technical College in Waco. Olton was a member of Summit Heights Fellowship in Hawkins, TX.
He is survived by his mother, Kelli Anne Stewart, and stepfather, Steven Stewart; a stepbrother, Cade Stewart, all of Hawkins; his grandmother, Louise Gilbreath of Holly Lake Ranch; his uncle and aunt, Chris and Lisa Gilbreath of Austin; his great-uncle and aunt, Robert and Ann Irby of Holly Lake Ranch; numerous cousins and other aunts and uncles; and his "second family," the Mobleys of Hawkins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Tracy Strickland.
