Oscar Neal Landers

Oscar Neal Landers, 80, of Gladewater passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021, in Gladewater. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. No further services are scheduled at this time.

Oscar was born March 1, 1941 in Gladewater to the late Samuel Kater Landers and Leathey Ringer Landers. Oscar served in the United States Army for seven years during Vietnam. He worked as a Mud Engineer in the Oil Industry and traveled the world working in several foreign countries; in different job capacities for the oilfield industry. Oscar was a fairly private person who enjoyed fishing and visiting with family and close friends. He will not soon be forgotten by those he leaves behind.

Oscar is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family. He is also survived by two sisters Delores Bolling and Nellie Turner of Gladewater

He is preceded in death by his parents and son Monte Landers, sister Evelyn Stickle, brothers Billy Sam Landers, Malcolm Landers, William Landers and Louis Landers.
