Patricia Jean Griffin

Private graveside services for Mrs. Patricia Jean Griffin, 54, of Gladewater will be held at West Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater. Due to the national health crisis, a memorial service to honor the life of Patricia will be held at a later date. Online memorials and condolences can be made at www.croleyfh.net. Patricia passed away Saturday, April 11, 2020, in Longview after a courageous battle with cancer.

Patricia was born, June 4, 1965, in Longview to the late Harold Wiess and Margaret Morrow Wiess. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Patricia loved her grandchildren and they were the apple of her eye. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, gardening and singing karaoke. Patricia was outspoken, opinionated and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her late husband Dell Griffin until his passing in 2017. Patricia will not soon be forgotten by all the loving family and friends she leaves behind.

Patricia is survived by her son Tracy Griffin and wife Krystal; daughter Lacy Hanks and husband Blake; three sisters Jona Ferguson, Shirley Burnette and Sherry Case; two brothers Tony Wiess and Shannon Wiess; four grandchildren Jacob Griffin, Hailey Griffin, Payton Myers and Carson Myers as well as many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William O’Dell Griffin as well as three sisters Pamela Nealy, Beverly Wiess and Patty Wiess.
