Patsy (Pat) Ruth Wyer

Funeral services for Patsy Ruth Wyer, 78, of Glenpool, Oklahoma formerly of the Longview area will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel in Gladewater. Interment will follow services at Gladewater Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Croley Funeral Home.
Pat passed into the loving arms of her savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, January 10, 2021, where she heard the words “Well done, good and faithful servant. Thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of your master.” Matthew 15:21
Pat was born in Grapeland, Texas to Abby Ruth and D.H. (Tex) Collins. The family would eventually move to Oklahoma where Patsy graduated from Claremore High School. Eventually, Pat settled in Longview, TX with Leon Wyer where they raised their boys Howard, and Dale Wyer. Pat loved spending time with and attending her boys little league baseball games. She also enjoyed camping, fishing, housekeeping, gardening, and teaching her boys about Jesus. Pat had great love for her pets over the years, specifically Freckles, Groucho, and Jada. Above all else, Pat loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and served him faithfully.
Pat pursued her LVN license and loved working at various hospitals, nursing homes and hospice facilities.
Pat is survived by her son Howard Wyer and his wife Tonya Wyer of Tyler, TX, Dale Wyer of Sapulpa, OK, and her grandchildren Whitney Wyer, Ashley McCormick, Courtney McCormick, and Chris and Sarah McCormick, all of Tyler, TX along with numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Preceding Pat in death are her parents D.H. (Tex) Collins, Abby Ruth Collins, her brother Rex Collins and her sister, Linda Barnard.
