Pattie Lynn Turner

Pattie Lynn was born in Dumas, Arkansas, on February 14, 1963 as a Valentine"s present to Glen Turner and Ethel Cleta Jones. She took her last breathe to be with her mother, Saturday morning, October 15, 2016, now she feels no more pain and is in her new home with our Savior Jesus Christ. You can only have one mother in this world and although she will never grow old, her smile was made of sunshine and her heart was made of gold. Her life was made of kindly deeds and a helping hand to others" needs. Her greatest accomplishments will live on through her children and grandchildren. She will forever be cherished and her strength and will to survive will never be forgotten. Pattie lived life to the fullest, and she was always the life of the party. Just a few of her hobbies were gardening, repurposing old furniture, and spending as much time as possible with her family. She lived her life as a homemaker, devoted mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Robby Turner, and sister Janie Fore. She is survived by her daughters, Leona and James Caldemeyer III of Gilmer, and Linsey Strode of Gladewater; brothers Glenn Turner and Douglas Turner of Arkansas, Charlie Turner, Josh Turner, and Joe Turner all of Ore City, Texas and Earnest and Robin Leverett of Longview; sisters, Renda Johnston and Cindy Gore of Arkansas; grandchildren, Chloie and Elijah Caldemeyer of Gilmer, and Bryton, Jaylee, and Addison Williams, and Allan Anthony, Jr. all of Gladewater. A Memorial & Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, Texas with Bro. Connor Bales officiating. A Memorial Fund has been set up at Austin Bank in honor of Pattie Lynn Turner. In memory of her sweet tooth, after the Memorial Service, close friends and family members will gather at Small Cakes in Longview, Texas to remember her and indulge in a sweet treat.
