Paul Anderson Grunden

Graveside services for Paul Anderson Grunden age 86 of Avinger, will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday August 7th 2018 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pritchett. Paul passed away on Friday August 3rd 2018 in Longview. Services are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater.
Paul was born in El Dorado, Arkansas on July 17th 1932, to the late Jake and Ethel Bius Grunden. Paul was a retired automotive worker for the GM Assembly Plant in Arlington. He was a member of the Baptist faith and served honorably in the US Army during the Korean conflict. Paul loved fishing watching Longhorn football spending time with his family, and barbecuing.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Mary Ennis Grunden, one brother, and four sisters.
He is survived by his son, Donald Grunden of Avinger; two brothers, Carlton Grunden and wife Helen of Edgewood, Gerald Grunden and wife Dorothy of Union Grove; and numerous nieces and nephews.
