Paula Renteria

Graveside services for Paula Renteria, age 84, of Winona, are scheduled for Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at The Masonic Cemetery of Mt. Pleasant, Father Mark Dunne officiating. A rosary and visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Paula passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 at a hospital in Tyler.

Paula was born on January 25,1934 in Bassett, Texas to the late Apolinar and Ramona Duran Renteria.

Paula worked and retired from the Moen Company as machinist after 29 years of service. She was a devoted Catholic, and member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. She enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and Mavericks, babysitting her great-nieces and nephews, and loved flowers of all kinds.

She is survived by her sisters, Mickie Renteria, Juanita Gray of Winona; brother, Gonzalo ”Lucky” Renteria of Hallsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, H.R. “Buster” Renteria.
