Cremation arrangements for Randy Baron Elliott, 73, of East Mountain are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date. Mr. Elliott passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at his home.

Randy was born May 5, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Gordon Elliott and Anna Oviline Bruton Elliott. He had an accounting degree and worked as a C.PA. for many years. He also was a certified nurse as well as a truck driver. Randy was very business savvy and helped his children with their business with his years of knowledge. Mr. Elliott was a proud veteran and served two tours of duty in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Dallas Cowboys. Above all he loved his family and his dogs. He even requested that part of his ashes be scattered in the yard so he would always be with his beloved dogs. Randy lived a life that will not soon be forgotten by those left to cherish his memory.

Randy is survived by a son Jerad Jennings (Trudi Howatt); four daughters Darlene Coleman (Gregory Loy), Wendy McInroy (David Huebner), Krysti Kern (Paul) and Renee’ Burton (Ed ); half brother Charles “Chip” Goldstein (Candice); cousin Janet Derting; grandchildren Christian Jennings (Kimberlea), Malachi Jennings (Valeen), Jordan Jennings, Izzy Jennings, Cennady Coleman, Calista Coleman, Taylor McInroy, Hayley McInroy, Cody Kern, Tanner Kern (Kai), Brooke Starling (Deontia), Cole Kern (Bradyn), Baleigh Roys, Alyssa Roys and Harli Atwood; great grandchildren Ella, Addison, Kenslee and Vivian; his faithful dogs Blue, Honey, Dusty and Molly as well as many other loving family and friends.
