Reba Nell Hood

Reba Nell Hood, 90, of White Oak, TX passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 22, 2022. She grew up in Sulphur Springs, TX and met the love of her life, Curtis Ray Hood. Reba was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, nanny, great-grandmother, card player, neighbor and friend.

Reba is preceded in death by her parents, Azz Morris Gammill and Ora Belle Gammill, brothers, Allen Gammill and Joe Gammill, and sisters, Juanita Lloyd, Clarine Anderson and Hazel Skeen.

Reba is survived by her loving husband, Curtis Hood, sons Randy Hood (Ginny) of Austin, TX and Joe Hood (Jan) of Marshall, TX, and daughter Melinda Autrey (Vernon Ace) of Longview, TX. Her Grandchildren, Chris Hood of Colorado Springs, CO, Beth Hood (Adrian Taylor) of Austin, TX, Jared Hood (Madison) of Marshall, TX, Jackson Hood (Ashley) of Lilburn, GA, Parish Autrey Henson of Longview, TX, Ashley Vaught (Del) of Henderson, TX, Alicia Monroe (William) of Birmingham, AL, and Alizabeth Autrey of Tyler, TX and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday, February 25, 2022 at 2:00pm at Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater, TX with the visitation at 1:00pm, before the service. Burial will follow in Arbala, TX, at Arbala Cemetery.
