Rex Keith Bever

Services for Rex Keith Bever, 89, of Winnsboro, will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 12, 2012 at First Methodist Church in Freemont, Iowa and burial will follow at Abel Cemetery in Hedrick, Iowa. Visitation will be held in Gilmer, Texas on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home. The family will have Visitation at Bates Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, Iowa on Sunday, March 11, 2012. Mr. Bever was born on May 24, 1922 in Hedrick, Iowa, to Clifford McKinney and Gladys Barcus Bever and passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012 in Winnsboro, Texas. He served in the U. S. Army during WWII and was a farmer. Mr. Bever is survived by his son, Ron Bever of New Sharon, Iowa; daughter, Roe Ann Logan of Gilmer; sister, Patty Berry of Freemont, Iowa; stepdaughters, Nina Shrago, Marsha Lynch; three grandchildren, Heather Barnes, J. W. Bever, and Daniel Logan; five great-grandchildren, Matthew, McKaayla, Mason, Maddux and Merritt; three step-grandchildren , Shera, Sherry and Jordan and two step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Ann Bever in 1976 and his second wife, Lenora Bever in 2007.
