Richard Wilson Johnson

Mr. Richard Wilson Johnson, 54, of Big Sandy, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011,in Gilmer. He was born October 13, 1956 to William Childress Johnson and Winnie Rea Sauer Johnson. Mr. Johnson worked in the Oilfield construction for R. B. Odor. He is survived by his father, Childress Johnson of Pritchett; daughters, Mandy Commander of Big Sandy, Jennifer Canup and husband, Ron of Harmony; brothers, Kenneth Johnson of Pritchett and Morris Johnson of Augusta, Kansas; sisters Kathy Barnett of Lindale and Rose Marie Bowen of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Ricky and Chasity Canup. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
