Rosie Lee Ross

Celebration of Life services for Rosie Lee Ross, 103, of Gladewater will be Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 1:00 at the Grace Crossing Church of God with Reverend William Carnley officiating. Mrs. Ross passed away Monday, July 9, 2018, in Gladewater.

Mrs. Ross was born June 8, 1915 in Mena, Arkansas to the late Joe Locket Harris and Anna Lizar Adams. She was a strong role model through her faith and the matriarch of five generations. Rosie leaves behind a legacy that will not soon be forgotten by her loving family and many friends.

Rosie is survived by daughters Marjie Lee Cervin, Becky Pittman and husband James; son-in law John Dinel as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Anna Harris; husband Author Ross; son Hugh Albert Carnley; daughters Emogene Weaver and husband Frank, Mary Helen Dinel, Dixie Queen Mattingley and husband Matt “Cowboy”; brothers Bud Harris, Little Bud Harris; sisters Carrie Browning, Leona Hudson; and son-in-law Pedro Cervin.
