Roxie Lee Bennett

Graveside service for Mrs. Roxie Lee Bennett, 99, of Linden, TX will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at East Memorial Gardens in Texarkana, AR. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mrs. Bennett passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019 in Linden.

Roxie was born in Queen City, TX on June 9, 1920 to Alvie and Eunice Richardson. She worked for the City of Longview as a bus driver and a sales representative for Cloud Sandwich Company. Roxie was also of the Pentecostal faith.

Mrs. Bennett is survived by her sons, Lonnie Gene Hawk and William Lee Bogan, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Martha Nell Bogan and Ruby Carroll Bogan; four brothers; and four sisters.
