Ruby Lee Shelton Martin

Cremation arrangements for Mrs. Ruby Lee Martin, 90, of Winona are under the direction of Croley Funeral Home in Gladewater. Mrs. Martin passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020, in Winona. No further services are scheduled at this time.

Mrs. Martin was born June 15, 1930 in Brazoria County, Texas to the late Marion Thomas Shelton and Lethia Mae Farmer Shelton. She married the love her life Burnice and they spent 60 years together. Ruby enjoyed crocheting (making afghans for all of her family), cooking (especially her cornbread dressing), working puzzle books and spending time with family and friends. She loved her dogs “Bud” and “Happy”. Ruby will not soon be forgotten by all the family she leaves behind.

Mrs. Martin is survived by her children Pat and husband Tim and Bobby and wife Cheryl; two granddaughters Missy and husband Wayne and Jenny and husband Lee; six great grandchildren as well as many other loving family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband and five siblings.
