Russell A. Hendricks

Visitation for Russell Alexander Hendricks of Gilmer will be 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer. Mr. Hendricks passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020.

Mr. Hendricks was born on March 16, 1949 in Granite City, Illinois and was retired from Lone Star Steele and during his career Mr. Hendricks was a master electrician. He was an Army Vietnam Veteran. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by daughter, Alexa Burns and husband, Doug Burns of College Station; daughter, Jenna Jones and husband, Cody Jones of Gilmer; daughter, Starla Hendricks Warmoth of Gilmer; brother Dan Hendricks and wife, Roxeanna Hendricks; sister, Marti Hendricks; grandchildren, Jacee Oehlert, Koree Hendricks, Brie Jones, Blakelynne Burns, Sully Jones, Sawyer Jones and Koy Burns and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hendricks is preceded in death by his parents, Wenzel Hendricks and Arsile Fern Brawley; and his sister, Wendy Gilbert.
