Funeral services for Russell Page Warden, M. D., 59, of Gilmer will be 10:00 A.M.., Saturday, April 25, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Gilmer with Reverend Todd Kaunitz officiating. Private family graveside will follow under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Dr. Warden passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, in Gilmer. He was born on December 17, 1955, in Dallas, Texas to Drs. Don and Lenore Warden. Russell Warden attended Texas A & M University and graduated UTMB Galveston Medical School. He did his Internal Medicine Residency at Oklahoma Memorial Hospital. Dr. Warden opened his private practice in Gilmer in 1984 where he remained until 1990. From 1990 to 1994, he taught and practiced at UTHSC in Tyler. In 1994, he joined the Diagnostic Clinic of Longview and remained there until the present. Dr. Warden was an active staff member at both Longview Regional and Good Shepherd Hospitals. He was certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Geriatric Medicine and the American Board of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Warden is survived by his wife, Charmaine Lyndaker Warden of Gilmer; sons Joshua Page Warden and his wife, Helen of Tyler and Amick Russell Warden of Gilmer; daughter, Nancy Marie Warden and her fianc" Tim Buettner of Gilmer; his parents, Drs. Don and Lenore Warden; brother, David Warden and wife, Magda and their children, Kimberly and Jonathan of Weslaco,TX and brother, Hank Warden and Johnna of Kaufman and their children Benjamin and Jacqueline; sisters, Shawn and Shay Warden both of Gilmer; grandchildren, Olivia Marie Warden, Sarah Michelle Warden and Emma Page Warden. Pallbearers are Dr. Don Warden, Amick Warden, Josh Warden, Benjamin Warden, Jonathan Warden, David Warden, Hank Warden and Tim Buettner. Memorial contributions may be made to the Russell P.
