GILMER- Graveside services for Mr. Russell David Patterson, 49, of Gilmer, Texas will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas with Pastor Charles Barham officiating under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Mr. Patterson passed away on March 10, 2016 in Longview, Texas. He was born on September 26, 1966 in Gladewater, Texas to Charles and Nancy Ashley Patterson. He was a Texas A&M University graduate and a graphic designer. He is survived by his wife, Mischelle Patterson of Gilmer; mother and step father, Nancy and David Nuner of Lake Port; daughter, Jacilyn Patterson of Longview; brother, Brian Patterson and wife, Pam of Round Rock; sister, Ashli Smith and husband, Shawn of Hallsville; nieces, Tuesday Smith and Natalie Gamblin; grandchildren, Violett Sellers and Malakai Sellers. Mr. Patterson is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Patterson. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 12 noon to 1:30 P.M. at Croley Funeral Home in Gilmer.
