Thomas Lee Allen

Mr. Thomas Lee Allen, age 73, of Longview, passed from this life into eternal rest on Saturday, May 25th 2019 at his home in Longview. Tom was born in Hearne Texas on November 4th 1945 to the late Calvin Allen and Ina Bruner. He owned and operated A&A Air Conditioning and Heating, for many years. He was a devoted and beloved member of Treasure Church of White Oak. Tom dedicated himself to his work and providing for his family throughout the years. When he wasn’t hard at work, he could be found fixing and tinkering with projects at his home. He was a man of great faith, strong spirit and character, an easy going and steadfast constitution, who dedicated his life to his Lord and Savior, and his loving family.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Lynda (Edwards) Allen of Longview; two sons, Robert Lee “Bobby” Allen of Maryland, Thomas Ray “Tommy” Allen and wife Katrina of Cleveland, Oh.; brothers, Jack Allen of Longview, Scott Allen and wife Leigh of Tyler; sister, Dessie Enrico and husband Ron of Hewitt; the mother of his sons, Bonnie Kauffman; three grandsons, Zachary Krosse, Owen Allen, and Gavin Allen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Bertie Sue Allen.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 5:00 to 6:45 pm at Croley Funeral Home of Gladewater, a celebration of his life will follow, at 7:00 PM, at Treasure Church of White Oak, 2544 Hwy 42. White Oak, Texas 75693, followed by a reception at the church at 8:00 PM. Graveside services will be held Little Mississippi Cemetery in Franklin, Texas, Bro. E.J. Adams officiating. If desired memorials in Tom’s memory can be made to Treasure Church of White Oak for the Jesus Burger mission that Tom supported.
