Una Weldon Stegall

Services for our beloved mother, mam-maw, and great grandmother, Una Stegall, 90, of Tyler, Texas will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at the Shiloh Road Church of Christ in Tyler, Texas. Mike Warner and Cary Ponder will be officiating. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the Shady Grove Cemetery in Upshur County under the direction of Croley Funeral Home. Mrs. Stegall died Sunday, May 2, at Park Place Nursing Home in Tyler where she resided for the past several years. She was born November 26, 1919 in Shady Grove, Texas to Grady and Maggie Weldon. Mrs. Stegall was a homemaker, teacher and devout Christian being an active member of the Shiloh Road Church of Christ for many years. Prior to retiring to Tyler, she and Mr. Stegall lived in Houma, Louisiana for 25 years. She loved cooking, sewing, and sharing her sweet spirit of love and hospitality. Everyone always looked forward to enjoying a slice of her yummy coconut cream pie! She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty three years, Norman Louis Stegall, her parents, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-laws, Lynn and Jane Stegall of Tyler, Ron and Carol Stegall of Meridianville, AL, and daughter and son-in-law, Nelda and Jeff Regian of Tyler. She is survived by ten grandchildren: Steven Stegall, Scott Stegall, Sherri Stegall, Shanna DuBois, Sandy Stegall, Doug Kelly, Matt Kelly, B.J. Kelly, Erin Kelly and Hunter Regian. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Stegall, J.D. Osborn, James Barton, James Farmer, Travis Hunt, Tommy Parrish and Ron Schultz. The Family will receive friends on Tuesday 6:30 -8:00 P.M. at Shiloh Road Church of Christ in Tyler. Her sweet smile and kisses will be missed!
