Valerie B Roach

Graveside services for Mrs. Valerie B. Roach, 97, of Longview will be held 3:00 P.M, Friday, April 27, at Ashland Cemetery in Upshur County, Texas under the direction of Croley Funeral Home of Gilmer. Mrs. Roach was born on September 5, 1914, in Ashland, Texas, Upshur County, to John Daniel and Bina Emdine Wilson Buie and passed away on April 25, 2012 in Lindale. Mrs. Roach lived in Gregg County since 1933 and was a salesperson/manager for a children"s clothing store until her retirement. She was a lifetime member of Judson Road Baptist Church. She is survived by her nieces and nephews. Mrs. Roach was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie E. Roach in 1981; four brothers and four sisters. Memorials may be made to the Ashland Cemetery Association, 24576 State Hwy 154, Diana, Texas 75640. No formal visitation will be held.
